Photonics and Laser Optics ProjectRoom

This room will be used both by students in the Physics 417L class and also for special student projects.  The room will contain laser diodes, fiber optic lasers, gas and liquid lasers, all for student use.

Student will work on projects in general optics as well as specialized areas such as the study of optical pumping, photorefractive effects, and Fourier Optics.   

Photonics projects will introduce students to fiber optic systems and high power lasers.
