Second Floor Rooms

Computational Physics Student Project Room

The room will be used as a student project room for computational physics projects.  Computational physics includes a variety of applications: writing code for numerical solutions of physics problems, writing code for data acquisition, using pre-existing software to analyze data to name a few.  Some of the topics will include applications from classical and quantum mechanics, fluid dynamics, and astrophysics.  The room will have 8-10 personal computers plus a few servers.  It is expected that two to three faculty will use the room with their students for various projects.
