What you do
The program is divided into two groups: a treatment group and a control
group. The workload and stipend differs between the two groups.
Treatment Group
Teachers who participate in the treatment group will:
- Attend three, 2-hour project meetings in Winter 2012, Winter 2014
and Summer 2016.
- Attend professional development summer institutes each summer, 2012
through 2016.
- Attend five, 4-hour follow-up sessions during each academnic year,
2012-13, 2013-14, 2014-25 and 2015-2016.
- Provide data for the research study in Winter 2012, Winter 2014, and
Summer 2016, including online surveys, quizzes, lesson analysis tasks,
pre- and post- classroom videotaped lessions, and student quizzes.
