Development of a power-point presentation package entitled, "The BioTrek Project: Visit the Rain Bird Rainforest Learning Center, Ethnobotany Garden and Aquatic Learning Center at Cal Poly, Pomona." This presentation package could be used to acquaint new docents with the now completed BioTrek Project facilities of the Biological Sciences Department. The purpose of these facilities is to integrate the "hands-on" experiences they provide with classroom lectures in both lower and upper division biological sciences courses as well as teacher education courses that encourage students to consider science as a career option. The power-point package will be invaluable in making our students, our faculty, local K-12 students, the public, and the media aware of our exciting new facilities that are available for them to visit and tour. It will provide a solid framework for the guidance and education necessary in the training of docents that will lead tours to "bring the rain forest experience to those at Cal Poly.
